Host to the 2012 Olympics, come see just how far London has progressed in its transformation of what was a previously fairly derelict part of the city into a state-of-the-art facility soon destined to play host to the best sportsmen and women in the world. From the wonder of the Opening Ceremony to the thrills of the sporting action: find out what will be happening where in 2012.
Other events under consideration: The Open Garden Squares Weekend: A chance to visit around 200 green spaces, many rarely opened to the public.
Museum of London: A major exhibition to celebrate the bicentenary of Charles Dickens's birth (Feb 7 1812), exploring the author's work.
Regent's Park Open Air Theatre's once again debuts its typical combination of serious drama.
Picasso in the UK: Including over 150 works this exhibition looks as Picasso's lifelong connections with Great Britain.
