ULI Annual Fund
ULI Annual Fund
Supporting the Urban Land Institute through annual giving is one of the most powerful ways you can make an impact. Unrestricted contributions to the ULI Annual Fund ensure that ULI has the resources to acknowledge opportunities and address unforeseen challenges with expediency that would otherwise not be possible. Your donation enables ULI to provide cutting-edge research, content, and programming that advances innovation in the industry and provides opportunities for our members to further connect, inspire, and lead.
Donors can choose to designate their contribution to a specific ULI signature program, ensuring that their gift is personally meaningful, or make an unrestricted donation with the assurance that it will be applied to meet ULI’s greatest needs.
Each year the ULI Annual Fund transfers more than $1 million to support ULI’s mission-driven programs:
- A. Eugene Kohn / KPF Fellowship: The A. Eugene Kohn/KPF Fellowship will fund research on low carbon design and other activities in the ULI Randall Lewis Center for Sustainability in Real Estate.
- Advisory Services: Advisory Service Panels leverage the expertise of our diverse membership to deliver achievable results for communities facing difficult land-use challenges across communities worldwide.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiative: Programmatic support for our partnerships and efforts to achieve our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), which recognizes that our communities can be successful and sustainable only if they work for everyone.
- Homeless to Housed Initiative: Support for research that will work to identify and disseminate best practices, enabling communities to provide housing for those experiencing homelessness.
- Marty Stern Inclusion Fund: Supports Product Council Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives that will enhance the Product Council experience and/or promote DEI in the real estate industry.
- Net Zero Imperative: A multi-year initiative to accelerate decarbonization in the built environment. The program will hold technical assistance panels in eight global cities and is designed to help building owners, cities, and other relevant constituents reduce carbon emissions associated with buildings, communities, and cities.
- NEXT: A leadership initiative where mid-career professional scan engage in discussions of topics that affect their businesses, help them develop professionally, and support a deeper understanding of the community in which they live.
- UrbanPlan: Harnesses the power of experiential learning to drive students to more deeply engage in the complex nature of land-use decisions and inspire them to take an active role as engaged citizens to create better communities.
- Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI): Works to achieve four objectives in the real estate industry and at ULI: promote the advancement of women, increase the number of women who serve in leadership positions, increase the visibility of women leaders, and increase the number of women who are active ULI Full members.
- Young Leaders Group: Creates opportunities for young professionals under the age of 35 to develop skills and build relationships that will help advance their careers and foster an understanding of thoughtful development practices.
- District Councils: ULI’s District Councils continuously work to provide keen leadership and networking opportunities, improve DEI initiatives, conduct educational forums, and build important relationships with both their local communities and our 45,000 plus members in the land use industry.
