The ULI Foundation and ULI Chicago are pleased to announce Anthony M. Hrusovsky as the 2013 ULI Jeffrey Kahan Fellow.
Mr. Hrusovsky is an architect at Solomon Cordwell Buenz, most recently specializing in high-rise, mixed-use, and residential development. He previously served as a design/build coordinator and construction manager for the Dobbins Group and was on-site manager for the Michael Hrusovsky Company. He earned bachelor of science and master’s degrees in architecture at the University of Michigan.
Mr. Hrusovsky has been a ULI member since 2011 and is a member of the Young Leader Program Committee. He is also president of the Young Professionals Board of the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association and a founding member of the Lake Forest Lacrosse Association.
The ULI Jeffrey Kahan Full Member Fellowship honors Jeffrey Kahan, a principal and director of the investment services group of Colliers International in Chicago. Before he passed away in June 2012, Mr. Kahan was active in ULI and participated in its Product Council program as a member of the Industrial and Office Park Development Council (Blue Flight). He deeply believed in the value of the relationships formed and information shared through ULI.
The Kahan Fellowship provides opportunities for ULI Chicago’s promising young leaders to participate as a full ULI member for one year. The fellowship includes attendance at the Spring Meeting and Fall Meeting, as well as access to IOPC Blue functions. The fellowship will also provide Mr. Hrusovsky with an IOPC mentor and a ULI Chicago mentor as part of the yearlong program. He will attend the 2013 ULI Fall Meeting in Chicago, where he will attend his first IOPC Blue meeting.
A jury of six ULI members and associates of Mr. Kahan reviewed applications and interviewed qualified candidates. The committee hopes to award two fellowships next year.
Congratulations to Anthony!
