ULI District Councils and Foundation Partner to Secure External Grants for Community Impact

The ULI Foundation is partnering with District Councils across the U.S. to leverage grants from foundations including Turner Construction Company Foundation, Huntington Foundation, Cleveland Foundation, and the Walton Family Foundation. These funds are supporting programs that educate the next generation of real estate and urban development leaders, foster diversity in the profession, and create meaningful community impact.
Programs highlighted include:

ULI Nashville’s UrbanPlan, funded by a $5,000 grant from the Turner Construction Company Foundation, engages high school, college, and community participants in project-based urban development simulations.

ULI Minnesota’s REDI program, supported by a $25,000 grant from the Huntington Foundation, provides education, networking, and mentorship for aspiring real estate professionals from diverse backgrounds.

ULI Cleveland’s REDI program, backed by a $75,000 three-year grant from the Cleveland Foundation, trains emerging developers and community leaders in real-world development skills.

ULI Northwest Arkansas initiatives, funded by $1.77 million from the Walton Family Foundation, address housing affordability, small-city planning, and faith-based land development.
