Product Council Competition

Product Councils are cadres of ULI members who share specialized industry interests and a commitment to responsible land use, and their competition demonstrates their commitment to ULI through contributions to the Foundation’s Annual Fund.

The councils span 23 topics, such as workforce housing, public/private partnerships, and commercial development, and their members provide leadership in furthering ULI’s mission through their roles across the real estate spectrum.

The members of the 54 Product Councils participate in ULI events as speakers and panelists, serve on Advisory Services panels, and contribute papers and articles to ULI publications. In addition, they participate in a friendly yearly competition to raise contributions for the Annual Fund, a member-led outreach campaign designed to raise awareness and philanthropic support for new and existing programs advancing the Institute’s mission.

“Giving is important because, for many of us seasoned land use professionals, it’s our opportunity to make our communities a better place,” said Crown Community Development Vice President Teri Frankiewicz, who has served as chairwoman of the Community Development Council (CDC) Silver.
