The following is from Mike Hayde, Annual Fund Chairman.

It is with great enthusiasm as well as some trepidation that I start my term as Chairman of the ULI Foundation Annual Fund this month. Like so many of you, I attribute a great deal of what I have accomplished in my business to the lessons shared and relationships formed through my ULI membership. I am grateful for the opportunity to give back as well as serve in this role. Knowing Jeff Stack for decades gives me great confidence in working with Jeff as he moves on to his new role as Chairman of the ULI Foundation.

Under Jeff’s leadership, member contributions to the Annual Fund have increased by over $600,000 in just five years. Jeff set out to increase Product Council Member participation for the Annual Fund and in doing so set a new record last year with ten Councils achieving 100% participation for the 2013 Annual Fund.

In an effort to communicate just how important your support is I am pleased to introduce “Impact Every Day”, a newsletter designed to provide a quarterly update on the Annual Fund, recognize donors, and highlight programs advancing ULI’s mission through your contributions.

The 2014 Annual Fund Campaign is off to a strong start – as of today nearly 1,200 members have contributed over $575,000. We have a lot of ground to cover to reach our $1.6 Million goal before December 31st, if you have not yet contributed, please visit the Annual Fund to do so today.

I look forward to working with you, earning your trust and support and for now just want to thank you for your commitment to ULI and for your support of the programs made possible through the Foundation’s Annual Fund!
