WASHINGTON (August 14, 2013) – Toby Bozzuto, a nationally recognized leader in housing, has been appointed to the National Advisory board of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Terwilliger Center for Housing, the Center announced today. In this role, Bozzuto will be tasked with providing strategic direction and ongoing program guidance, identifying ways the Center can support the creation of a full range of housing opportunities in communities across the United States.
“Toby’s energy and expertise are a wonderful addition to the National Advisory Board,” said Lynn Ross, executive director of the Terwilliger Center. “It is our privilege to have a member of Toby’s caliber join the board and provide strategic direction for the Center’s ongoing work.”
Bozzuto currently serves as the president of The Bozzuto Group, based in Greenbelt, Md. In this role, he is responsible for the overall day-to-day direction of the company, its six divisions, and more than 1,300 employees. Prior to his current position, he was president of Bozzuto Development Company, where he oversaw development activities for the company’s apartment development operations. Before joining The Bozzuto Group as a partner in 2001, he worked with J.P. Morgan Chase’s Real Estate Debt Group and as a financial analyst with Columbia National Real Estate Finance.
