- In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, an elite group of real estate professionals assembled by ULI advised Gulf Coast cities on strategies for rebuilding.
- A team of young ULI members in California provided free professional assistance to Guide Dogs of the Desert, a nonprofit that wanted to expand its facility for training service dogs for the blind.
- ULI’s research centers for housing and infrastructure surveyed Americans’ views on housing, transportation, and community in order to help communities shape future development.
These projects and countless others are the result of individual gifts to the Annual Fund, which empowers ULI to respond in a timely fashion with long-term solutions to communities facing complex problems in housing, transportation, infrastructure, and rebuilding after disaster.
The Annual Fund also benefits ULI’s key education and leadership programs, including UrbanPlan for high school and university students and the Women’s Leadership Initiative, which promotes the advancement of women as leaders in the real estate industry.
Supporters of the Annual Fund may make a general contribution or designate their gift to Urban Innovation Grants, UrbanPlan, Advisory Services Disaster Relief Panels, or the Women’s Leadership Initiative.
If you are a member of a ULI Product Council, you may choose to contribute to the Annual Fund through the Product Council Competition. You can also support the Annual Fund through contributions through your company’s matching gifts program.
